“I have served BRAC as Lead Pastor for 12 years. My favorite part of ministry is to meet with people over coffee to thank them for serving our church. I also love to provide a space for people to process their doubts about God and the Bible. My wife Jenn and I have been married for 18 years, and we have 4 children: Nathan (14), Daniel (12), Micah (9), and Cara (4). My hobbies include coaching Little League baseball, watching college football, and visiting my favorite ice cream stand, Peaches & Cream."

What are some things that you do when not at church?

“I enjoy playing sports and board games, hiking in the woods, and getting ice cream from Peaches and Cream as often as possible.”

What is your favorite verse and why?

1 Corinthians 2:4-5 “My message and my preaching were not with wise and persuasive words, but with a demonstration of the Spirit's power, so that your faith might not rest on men's wisdom, but on God's power.”

“I love to preach God's Word. My hope is that people exit the worship service every Sunday, having experienced God's power and a renewed commitment to reach their neighbors and community with God's love.”

What is your background for schooling?

“I received my B.A. in Speech Communications from Geneva College in Beaver Falls, PA in 2000 and Masters of Divinity from Trinity School of Ministry in Pittsburgh, PA in 2009.”
